Role Overview

As a Flexible Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching and support at one dedicated school. Your role will involve covering classes as needed while ensuring that learning continues seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Implement lesson plans left by the regular teacher, bringing your unique teaching style to the classroom.
  • Maintain Classroom Management: Establish a positive learning environment, promoting respectful behaviour and encouraging student engagement.
  • Support Student Learning: Assist students in understanding the lesson content, providing support and guidance as required.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with the permanent staff to ensure a smooth transition for students and maintain continuity in their learning experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/PGCE): A valid teaching qualification is essential.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: A willingness to adapt your teaching style to fit the needs of different learners and classroom dynamics.
  • Classroom Management Skills: Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour and create a conducive learning environment.
  • Driving Licence (Beneficial): While not mandatory, having a driving licence is advantageous for commuting to the school.
