Position: Full-Time SEN Teacher
Start Date: January 2025
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are an innovative alternative provision in Christchurch seeking a dedicated and inspiring Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team in January.
You will be responsible for teaching secondary age pupils across the school.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
Create a positive learning environment that encourages all students to thrive
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators and support staff
Build strong relationships with students, families, and external professionals
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with children with special educational needs
A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students in an alternative provision setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
