If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN), this is the perfect opportunity for you

As a SEN Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping students with their learning, ensuring they feel supported and confident in their educational journey. You will assist students in overcoming barriers to learning, while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities of the SEN Support Worker:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist students in understanding their lessons and completing their tasks.
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning resources.
  • Support students in their personal development and social skills.
  • Maintain communication with teachers and other staff to ensure students’ needs are met.
  • Help students stay engaged and motivated throughout the school day.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students.

Requirements of the SEN Support Worker:

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • A patient, empathetic, and caring approach to working with children.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and hold Enhanced DBS on Update Service.
  • Passion for supporting students in overcoming challenges and achieving their full potential.
