We are currently searching for an experienced HV/LV SAP to join our team based in North Ayrshire.

We would be seeking candidates who has proven SAP experience within the construction industry and whom is trade qualified with electrical experience


Role responsibilities

The Senior Authorised Person would require a very good understanding of electrical systems and ensure that all electrical work is carried out in compliance with industry standards, regulations and company policies. The work involves working on high/low voltages up to 11kv. The SAP will also ensure there is strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures, especially isolations and energising circuits. The role will also be working with the project management team and external contractors.


Role requirements

  • HNC / HND qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience as site electrical supervisor within construction or related field
  • Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or equivalent
  • Experienced as a leader in HSEQ Management and knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements
  • Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROI), CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications
  • HV operational safety trained with a recognised training body
  • Experience as LoTo coordinator.
  • Minimum 5 years site experience as an active Appointed Person
