Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Booth Welsh Ltd. as a key member of our Electrical Engineering team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and coordination, with experience in controlling multiple projects with strict deadlines. A strong client interface is essential, with a wide degree of knowledge and considerable experience within an industrial or commercial environment.

Key responsibilities will include actively leading the design and coordination of electrical improvements projects, reviewing and estimating electrical requirements, managing approvals of electrical project documentation, and ensuring all appropriate technical reviews are undertaken with head office and key stakeholders.

Desirable skills and experience include design and construction of high and low voltage electrical systems, specification of hazardous area electrical equipment, knowledge of Atex certification and IP ratings, surveying of LV switchgear and control panels, and experience with motor starters, VSDs, and EMC filters.

We offer a long-term work opportunity with hybrid working conditions, including 3 days on-site and 2 days at home. Contract or staff position available.

Qualifications include a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, and a degree in Electrical Engineering or Chartered status is ideal but not essential.
