Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Booth Welsh Ltd. as a key member of our Electrical Engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual with a wide range of professional skills to take on a challenging role with a strong client interface.

The successful candidate will have experience in controlling multiple projects with strict deadlines and will be able to lead the design and coordination of electrical improvements projects.

Key responsibilities will include reviewing, estimating, and designing electrical requirements for all projects, managing the approvals of electrical project documentation, and ensuring all appropriate technical reviews are undertaken with head office and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, and a strong understanding of Atex certification and IP ratings.

They will also have experience with motor starters, VSDs, and UPS systems, as well as a good understanding of containment systems, cable selection, and sizing for design and protection requirements.

Excellent communication skills and a track record of developing good working relationships with all levels of an organisation internally and with consultants and contractors are essential.

This is a long-term work opportunity with hybrid working conditions on offer (3 days on site, 2 days at home). Contract or staff position available.
