Required qualifications and skills:
Degree qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent level of knowledge. Considerable experience in a senior supply chain leader, preferably with both new product development and commercialisation activities Substantial knowledge of business and external marketplace developments. Uses these insights to inform decision making and shape and drive critical activities. Demonstrated ability to deal with complexity involving Commercial, R&D and GSC - recognizing key risks, issues & sensitivities to develop thought through scenarios. Problem solving abilities suitable for handling complex issues across technical, quality, regulatory and operational areas. Proven experience interfacing and influencing senior Global Leadership team stakeholders. Knowledge of GSC network and supply capability. End-to-End Supply Chain design experience.Preferred qualifications and skills:
Demonstrated commercial awareness and experience. Understanding of financial modelling, business case elements that support decision making Understanding of supply chain processes, regulatory constraints, planning and logistics, trade routes and GSK trading arrangements. Ability to act as an effective leader in a complex matrix environment across multiple teams and geographies. Understanding of risk management and complianceWe make and supply medicines and vaccines all around the globe and our teams own every production stage, from creating quality products at our manufacturing sites to designing effective supply forecasting and regulatory inspections; all powered by digital, data and analytics. We operate at impressive scale, producing over 2.3 billion packs of medicines and doses of vaccines in 2023.
We continue to modernise, so we can launch even more new products at speed whilst continuing to deliver across our entire portfolio through our relentless focus on quality, safety, and service.
