We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to join our North Scotland team, based in Aberdeen. This role involves leading the refurbishment and extension of an agricultural research facility located near the city centre. 

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and successful delivery of the project by managing the programme, budgets, resources, and subcontractor partners to provide a high-quality facility for our client.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily management and leadership of the project, effectively managing performance of H&S, the works team, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet programme requirements.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with programme demands, utilising information from the site management team to inform monthly reports tracking adherence to programme and commercial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with Kier and governing body safety procedures and legislation.
  • Collaborate closely with the project commercial team to report on the current and projected financial status of the project.
  • Ensure all work under your leadership complies with the project-specific environmental plan and waste management protocols.
  • Chair and attend design team meetings as needed, ensuring the design team issues information in line with the project programme and issues RFIs as required.

  • You possess strong knowledge of managing programmes, budgets, people, and resources.
