We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team at Salesforce Ben. Your performance will be judged on the quality and creativity of your videos, as well as your contributions to the performance of our YouTube channel. 

We have an office and studio in Shoreditch, London, which we use for recording on a weekly basis. You will also be exposed to our recording equipment, the video planning process, and see the promotions of your videos across our channels.  

Responsibilities
  • Video editing: Assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision. Manipulate and edit film pieces using your tool of choice. 
  • Video briefs: Holding meetings to gather the team’s needs and specifications, and produce a brief for the team’s approval.  
  • Script review: Support in reviewing scripts (written by the Content Managers) to translate the written content into filmed content. Our writing and formatting standards should be maintained across all video content. 
  • Filming: Plan and coordinate filming sessions (from a couple of hours through to full-day long). Using our recording equipment, record professional footage. 
  • YouTube channel optimization: Improve the look and feel of our Youtube channel, applying best practices for better viewer engagement. Improve the discoverability of videos, for SEO purposes.
  • Video engagement/analytics: 
  • Community building: Responding to comments, etc.

Requirements

Required 

  • Has a passion for video filming and editing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applies their creativity, with one eye on the analytics. 
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with different members of the team.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Editing Suite including Premier Pro, Adobe Podcast, and After Effects.

 Desirable

  • Has experience in successfully growing a Youtube channel. 
  • Holds a degree in a media-based discipline. 
  • Knowledge of SEO, especially video SEO.
