Role Overview:

Your role as a Learning and Development Advisor will be to support the development and retention of talent at all levels of JCB to create competitive advantage and deliver the ambitious growth plans of the business. This role is focussed in the Sales, Service and Purchasing functions.

You will be developing skills, knowledge, and expertise through the execution of initiatives, learning programmes and people processes that are aligned to our ambitious growth plans.

This role is key in ensuring we stretch all our employees and maximise their potential both in current and future roles.

Key Accountabilities:

In collaboration with our Group Talent Manager, wider L&D and HR team you will understand the business and HR strategy to determine the talent requirements – ultimately delivering the ambitions of the business by designing, developing, and delivering talent development interventions that will increase the capability of people so that they are able to deliver in role.

Support the ongoing development and rollout out of our role specific development programmes, ensuring that your stakeholders have the skills and behaviours they need to deliver bottom line success and role model behaviour.Support the ongoing development and roll out of the Commercial Excellence programme ensuring our Sales, Service and Marketing functions work collaboratively to continue to deliver great products to our customers.Deliver and develop of JCB’s On Boarding program to ensure that individuals are engaged with the business early and deliver in role quickly.Coach and develop individuals and teams to build confidence and deliver improved performance.Collaborate and work closely with the HR Operations team and cross functionally to influence others.Design and deliver digital content that blends with face-to-face learning interventions.Facilitate face to face learning interventions.

About You:

First and foremost, you will be an expert in building relationships both internally and externally and demonstrate resilience when faced with challenges - finding and delivering effective resolutions.

You will be a specialist in Learning & Development (ideally with exposure within a sales or technical setting), bringing with you a “big picture” approach without neglecting the need for timely delivery.
