We are working closely alongside a LocalAuthority in Enfield to assist withthe appointment of a PlacementsOfficer on a2monthcontract likely to be extended at clientsdiscretion. Please apply with your CV for immediateconsideration.

Rate ofPay: 18.95 23.39 perhour

Hours Per Week:16.00

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maintain a work programme thatensures the appropriate tasks and processes are completed to agreedtimescales and standards
  • To assist in thedesign and implementation ofworking systems electronic and otherinformation flows.
  • To participate in corporategroups where appropriate representing the Access to Resources Teamas agreed.
  • To ensure that the Councilsfinancial policies are implemented and that financial arrangementsare adhered to.
  • To play a key role insafeguarding the external placements budget by directingoperational social work staff on the most cost effective placementoptions
  • To contribute to the development of ateam plan and associated monitoring and reviewing processes.

Qualification& Experience:

  • Knowledge of the range of complex needs ofLooked After Children and an understanding of the most appropriateinterventions to meet those needs
  • Excellentorganisational skills including the ability to manage competingdemands respond to emergency situations and manage your workloadeffectively
  • Experience in partnership workingwith statutory sector partners
  • Experience incontract monitoring and performancemanagement
  • Experience of market management andworking with external providers
