Your role in themission:

Type One Energy isseeking a Senior Procurement Supply Chain Manager to oversee andmanage the companys supply chain and procurement operations.Reporting into the VP Global Partnerships and Supply Chain you willbe responsible for the managing the procurement process of ourstellarator technologies while also managing vendor relationshipsnegotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery ofgoods.

The successful candidate will develop andimplement strategies to improve efficiency reduce costs and managerisk within the supply chain of our fusion technologies.

  • Develop and implementprocurement strategies to ensure costeffective purchasing ofmaterials supplies and services.
  • Manage theentire procurement process including sourcing purchasing andcontract negotiation.
  • Identify and developrelationships with key suppliers to secure the best possiblepricing and service.
  • Oversee the supply chainprocess from raw materials to delivery of finishedgoods.
  • Collaborate with the finance departmentto forecast demand and plan inventorylevels.
  • Monitor supply chain performance andimplement improvements as necessary.
  • Maintain asupplier database including contract details performance recordsand other relevant information.
  • Manage andmonitor vendor relationships to ensure continuous improvement inperformance and capabilities.
  • Identifypotential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigationstrategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legalregulatory and company standards in all procurement and supplychain activities.
  • Monitor market trends andconditions to anticipate potential challenges in the supplychain.
  • Prepare and manage the procurementbudget ensuring efficient use ofresources.
  • Track and report on procurement andsupply chain costs and savings.
  • Manage ERPfunctionality that drives productivity improvements and permitsexpansion for additional moduledeployment.

Whatyoull need:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or arelated field.
  • MBA or professionalcertification (e.g. CPSM CSCP) preferred.
  • 10years of experience in procurement and supply chainmanagement.
  • Proven experience in vendormanagement and contract negotiation.
  • Experiencewith ERP systems and supply chain managementsoftware.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills.
  • Excellent negotiation and contractmanagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multipleprojects and meet deadlines.
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonalskills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite(Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Experience in astartup environment ispreferable.
