- We are looking for a Customer Supply Chain Coordinator
- Overview
- With focus on increasing customer satisfaction and optimising its resources, Metsä Wood UK has embarked on a wide range of initiatives and investments which include transforming its ERP & supply chain planning tools, standardising ways of working across its business areas and deeper collaboration with its stakeholders to increase product visibility and service.
- As part of this initiative a vacancy has arisen to directly collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as high-profile customers and suppliers of service.
- Responsibilities- Partner with Sales & Commercial teams to develop a deep relationship with key accounts to offer the best possible service at the most optimal cost to serve.-
- Provide Supply Chain coordination and stakeholder engagement internally and externally to create value. Report and provide insights on demand trends, variance analysis, and opportunities within the supply chain space. Ensure the most optimum demand & supply balance is achieved for your customer channels.-
- Respond to various supply chain challenges to ensure excellent customer service; identify, propose, and build on operational initiatives (cost to serve, continuous improvement) for the customer group and Metsä.- What will you do?- You will be responsible for the demand planning process with customers and the supply chain for your areas to ensure best possible service at optimal cost.-
- Maximise availability for our customers. Working closely with various supply chain teammates coordinate inbound supply flows and production capacity plans to achieve service and value targets.-
- Navigate data cleansing, statistical forecasting, integrate cross-functional and customer insights. Coordinate demand and inventory-related initiatives.-
- Coordinate the monthly S&OP channel reviews with relevant stakeholders, maintain demand plans in APO, report on variances to plan with insights from the wider business-
- Balance day-to-day tasks of the short-term horizon (0-12 weeks) with the demands of improving activities across the tactical time period (3-12 months).-
- Own the analysis and reporting for your area of focus. Bring variance analysis and results data to life by presenting and providing commentary at planned and ad hoc review sessions.- Experience/Skills- Supply chain, operations and/or category management experience-
- Numerate and comfortable solving business problems. Proven ability to analyse data and influence outcomes-
- Experience with forecast data modelling and tools strongly preferred. Product portfolio management and related best practice techniques preferred.-
- Experience in S&OP best practice preferred as well as driving relevant metrics (FC error, forecast value-add, etc)-
- Preferred experience of SAP ERP and related supply chain software (09, Blue Yonder/JDA, etc)-
- Degree in supply chain or related field, 6-sigma qualified (desirable)- Why work for us?- Compelling brand and company-
