We have a greatopportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join our team withinVistry Central Home Counties at our Broxbourne office inHertfordshire. As our Technical Coordinator you will coordinate keyinformation engineering and working drawing packages to enable anygiven residential development to be built as intended and to obtainall necessary technicalapprovals.

  • Managesite as agreed with the Technical Manager from design stage to postcompletion in line with deliveryprogramme.
  • Undertakekey aspects of the Principal Designer role as defined within theConstruction Design & Management Regulation2015.
  • Completionof all necessary Health Safety & Environmental documents inline with grouppolicy.
  • Coordinatedelivery of surveys & reports required for the developmentand manage associated requirements from design tocompletion.
  • Managethe process of obtaining consultant fee proposals and formalappointment documents in accordance with groupprocedures.
  • Coordinateconsultants to deliver the civil engineering designs includinglegalplans.
  • Undertakingvalue engineering assessments and ensurebuildability.
  • Coordinatesubmission of designs and securing technical approvals foragreements such as S104 S38 andS278.
  • Followingtechnical approval being granted managing timely completion oflegalagreements.
  • Coordinateutility designs and initial mains laying onto site ensuring legalagreements completed in timelymanner.
  • Coordinatestreet naming with local authority complete plot list anddistribute internally and externally of thebusiness.
  • Assistin production of Sales brochure legal and sales handovermeetings.
  • Provideinformation for Housing Association contracts and attendance ofprogressmeetings
  • Coordinateconsultants to deliver the house type working drawing packs andliaise with key suppliers to provide ancillary drawing informationfor tender construction and salespacks.
  • Prepareall drawings and documents for engineering and superstructureelements for tender followed by the construction issue and saleshandover.
  • Coordinatethe accuracy of information supplied by all departments to ensurenodiscrepancies.
  • Submissionof all information to building control and warranty providers andobtaining approval of same obtaining SAP/HEM Assessments togetherwith PEA and EPC s Secured by Design Approval and Robust StandardDetails.
  • Obtainingand collating all ancillary specialist drawings including hot watersupply heating kitchen stair lintels p.c. ground floors and precastupperfloors.
  • Attendingand chairing PreStart Meetings and briefing all departments onmatters related to the engineering and workingdrawings.
  • Coordinateinformation and liaise with architects civil and structuralengineers and landscape architects ensuring consistency betweenvariousdesigns.
  • Assistthe Land Planning & Development teams with advice duringthe land acquisition stage and assist in the information todischarge of planningconditions.
  • Tomonitor and report technical & development fees includingS106obligations.
  • Resolveall technical related queries including conducting site visits asrequired.

  • Experienceworking within a technical role at a residential house builder orcontractor
  • Goodlevel of IT literacy with experience of AutoCAD Outlook Excel&Word
  • Provenability in a Technical Coordinator role of delivering design forprojects on time to budget and quality standards with high customersatisfactionresults
