Job summary
Clinical and Care Professional Leads support south east London-wide and borough programmes of work, therefore, there is an expectation that you currently work within south east London, and for borough based roles, within that borough.
The clinical care professional lead for CYP engagement is a key post within the South East London BCYP programme. The postholder will work collaboratively with partners across SEL to provide a system voice to the work of the BCYP programme, ensuring that the voice and lived experience of children, young people, service users and their carers plays an integral role in the planning and delivery of services across SEL.

Main duties of the job
o Lead, inform and support SEL wide engagement in delivering the BCYPpriorities for SELo Working with partners, to identify opportunities to strengthen the CYP voice and engagement in programme of work for CYP,o Act as a key interface with local and South East London teams working in this space, supporting joined up approaches to engagement with localcommunities to inform outcomes-focused person-centred careo Working with Partners and other related programmes, to ensure that reducing health inequalities is at the heart of our work with CYP particularly ensuring that underrepresented voices are heard, and that targeted and meaningful engagement is used to help local teams develop their work accordingly,o Work to ensure the SEL CYP Engagement model is implemented across SEL

Qualifications
Essential
Qualified care and/or clinical professional NMC, HCPC, social work register, GMC etc. Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
Experience

Engagement of patients and public and the principles of co-production in service design and delivery
Skills
Essential
The ability to work in partnership with lead clinicians, health care professionals and other stakeholders and a partnership approach to working across organisations.
