Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for a range of activities within the Systems Lifecycle including :-
Elictiation and Validation of Requirements Engineering Set using MBSE approach. Development of hardware specifications for the various modules and sub-systems. Verification testing of the completed system using simulation software. Leading engineering working groups on the development and implementatino of activities.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or relevant STEM discipline HNC/HND with equivalent engineering experience Applications are also welcomed from individuals with significant demonstrable experience who don’t hold formal qualifications
Essential Skills
To be successful in role, you'll have the following skills / Experience
Broad understanding of the Space Systems domain; Experience with the design and development of Satellite communcation systems and the associated support systems . library data/formats, interfaces, planning etc.; Understanding of the process of testing and integrating systems into satellite systems; Model Based Systems Engineering practices using Enterprise Architect /Matlab / Simulink
Desired Skills
Engineering/technical management, preferably in a position responsible for the delivery of equipment/system programmes within the space sector; Able to understand the effect of system design and change on the cost of the development; Conversant with the CCSDS blue and green book standards and processes Be a good communicator, both written and oral, and able to liaise at all levels with customers/stakeholders; Capable of undertaking and documenting detailed development activities including proof of concept designs;

What do I need before I apply
This role may require security clearance upto DV level and our offer of employment will be dependent on obtaining the appropriate level of clearance. The details of this requirement will be discussed at interview.
