Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Aerospace Graduate Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a NewOrbit Graduate Engineer, you will be part of a structured development program, gaining exposure to multiple technical domains, including satellite engineering, air-breathing propulsion systems, satellite operations, and systems integration and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rotational Assignments: Participate in a structured development program, gaining exposure to multiple technical domains.
  • Satellite Engineering: Contribute to the design and development of satellite systems, including propulsion, power, and communication subsystems.
  • Air-Breathing Propulsion Systems: Assist in the research, development, and testing of our innovative propulsion technology, focusing on air-intake and rarefied gas dynamics.
  • Satellite Operations: Help monitor, control, and optimize satellites in orbit, learning the intricacies of real-time space operations.
  • Systems Integration and Testing: Collaborate on the integration and testing of satellite systems to ensure they meet mission requirements.
  • Skill Development: Enhance your technical and professional skills through hands-on experience, mentoring, and training sessions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, sharing your ideas and learning from experienced engineers and scientists.

Fundamental Requirements
  • Educational Background: A degree level or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Space Technology Background: Experience in university satellite and propulsion projects, interest in space engineering and a desire to contribute to the future of satellite technology.
  • Hands-On Experience: Hands-on experience with building things, working in the lab and working with electronics is a requirement.
  • Teamwork: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Problem-Solving: A systematic, logical, and critical approach to solving technical challenges, with attention to detail.
