Identifye-Storageaswellascustomer/consortiumandotherthird-partycontract obligations and develop and implement the Project contract commercial plan, including Project claim strategy. ProactivelysupportProjectriskandopportunityidentificationandanalysis. Assume responsibility for all Project contractual activities from hand-over from Commercialuntilallcontractualobligationsarecompleted,andallcontractualissues are resolved/settled. Ensurenoticesaregiveninlinewithcontractrequirements. Proactivelymanageclaimsto/fromcustomersandpartners,incl.negotiationsand settlements. Managementofclaimsto/fromcontractors,subcontractorsandsuppliersasrequired and ensure appropriate recovery from third parties. ManageProjectvariationrequests/orders. ManageProjectinsurances:ensurecontractcompliantinsurancecoverage;submit, monitor and settle of insurance claims in accordance with the policies. If requested, provide support and guidance and training to the Project team on generalcontractualissues.Clarifycontractual/legalenquiries,ifnecessary,referring to Legal. Providesupportintheeventofdispute. ReportonProjectclaimsandvariations,aswellas potentiallycriticalcontractissues to management and, as required, to project control, finance and audit staff. Reporttomanagementfortheapprovalof variationorders,amendmentsand settlements in accordance with the applicable Delegation of Authority. SupporttheServicesDirectorinthemanagementandimplementationofthe Long- Term Services Agreements. Qualifications&Requirements: Universitydegreeineitherengineering,quantitysurveying,businessadministrationor law Provenexperience/trackrecordinclaimpreparationandnegotiation(EOTclaim, global claim, contract renegotiations etc) including elaboration of claim strategy. Knowledgeofdelayanalysisprinciples(criticalpathanalysis,concurrentdelay principles etc). Understandingofcontractlaw. UnderstandingofProjectriskmanagement. Technicalunderstanding. Experienceinhigh-levelnegotiations. Extensiveanddemonstratedexperienceofhands-oncontractmanagement experience in complex infrastructure projects (power generation and power transmission preferred). ExperienceinFIDICcontracts. DesiredCharacteristics: Exceptionalcommunicationskillswithinternalandexternalstakeholders.
