• You will help to ensure that Walsingham Support's care is of high quality and person-centred. As a Social Care Assistant you will help to ensure that care is tailored to the needs of each individual and based on their lifestyle.

• As a Social Care Assistant, it is your duty to ensure a high quality and well maintained environment for those we support.

• Each Social Care Assistant is expected to work from a care plan, providing help with day to day living tasks. This might include personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, providing emotional support, social interaction and visits to activities in their communities.

Social Care Assistant

At this service we provide 24 hour residential support to 6 individuals living in, with Learning Disabilities and Autism. We provide individualised support that is person centred. Each individual we support has a bespoke support plan that is suited to their needs and includes support for, personal care, health and spiritual well being, involvement in choice and decision making regarding every aspect of their life, finances, medication and ensuring regular reviews with GPs and other professionals.
