Having an efficient and effective IT operation is integral for the success of most modern businesses. However, resourcing a complete in-house IT department is not a viable solution for many organisations. At David Allen IT solutions, we are committed to helping businesses reach their goals by providing them with a client-based comprehensive IT support service that uses best-in-class technology. We are currently recruiting an IT Technician Apprentice to join our growing organisation.
Aims and purpose of the job
To support the clients of David Allen IT Solutions by working remotely using our RMM technologies, and on-site at customers premises to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of all IT equipment and maximum up-time to clients IT systems.
To deliver excellent customer service and ensure all work delivered is accurate and efficient at all times.
Duties to Include
To aim to carry all work accurately and to the highest standard.To take full responsibility for all work and tasks assigned to you.To plan, manage and prioritise your workflow and productivity to ensure targets and deadlines are met.To support clients IT systems both remotely and on-site.To ensure prompt response to IT related queries and that all customers receive the highest level of service.To ensure there is clear communication with your line manager and other team members on work being carried out.To assist your line manager to identify ways to improve and develop departmental systems and the client experience.To deal with all communications in a timely manner and ensure they are of a high professional standard using David Allen brand guidelines and templates.To maintain your own professional and technical knowledge by attending technical workshops and further training, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state of the art practices, participating in professional societies and business networking meetings.To ensure your studies are up to date and that you pass any assessments at first attempt.To manage and meet the requirements of your Information Communication Technician apprenticeship standard within the relevant timescale.
