As a Technician Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our Institute of Health at the University of Cumbria.

Key responsibilities include providing technical support to various programs, including Nursing, Paramedic Practice, and Diagnostic Radiography, across multiple clinical skills laboratories at our Lancaster campus.

Through our technical apprenticeship training program, you will be enrolled in the Level 3 Higher Education Assistant Technician course, offered by CSR Scientific Training Group, and delivered online. You will also receive IOSH Working Safely qualification and mentorship from senior technicians.

Upon successful completion, you will gain the necessary skills to pursue a successful career as a teaching technician supporting Healthcare programs within the HE sector and may be considered for permanent employment at the University of Cumbria.
