We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our production factories near Kendal. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for supporting all production machinery, including combating and resolving breakdowns and machinery problems, as well as working through planned preventative maintenance and undertaking project work such as new installations.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Maintenance or Service Engineering, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment. They will have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications at Level 3 or above, and have good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across a range of areas, including motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems, etc.

The role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, and the successful candidate will be able to work well as part of a close-knit team, be proactive and have a self-starter work attitude. They will also be flexible and able to give and take on start and finish times when necessary.
