The CAMHS youth teamworks across Herefordshire and Worcestershire providing a youth work service toyoung people open to CAMHS. The team works across both counties with the basebeing Seaford Court Lodge, Malvern. No two days are the same, so flexibility, problemsolving skills and a desire to make a difference are vital for this role. It is essential you have excellent IT Skillsand a knowledge of NHS IT Systems such as Care Notes is beneficial.

You will provide all administrative duties for the team,including writing letters, organising appointments, room bookings, datacollection and telephone calls, as well as respondingeffectively to enquiries from the public, service users and otheragencies.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate willneed to have proven experience working within a fastcepaced environment, demonstrate a flexible approach, with the ability to manageworkload and maintain professionalism during busy periods.

A typical days duties willinvolve undertaking general administration/secretarial duties that are specificto the Herefordshire and Worcestershire CAMHS YouthTeam.

Manage incoming and outgoingemails and letters/correspondence.

You will require excellentcommunication skills as you will often be the first point of contact for theservice answering telephone enquires and arranging appointments for thoseaccessing and referring to the service.

Other duties includeundertaking general office duties, as required, , typing, data inputting,filing, scanning/copying, in line with Trust Policies and Procedures.

Arranging, confirmingappointments and meetings, making appropriate arrangements ,hospitality, booking venues, equipment, etc.

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to:

Manage and prioritise own workload effectively

Communicate information, tocolleagues and staff from internal and external contacts.

Excellent keyboard skills;.

Answer/deal with face-to-face, written and telephone enquiries ina professional manner, recording messages efficiently and relaying relevant informationin an appropriate and timely manner.

Prepare for and attend appraisal meetings and complete allmandatory training required by the Trust.

Be a flexible and supportive member of the team, providing coverduring staff absences or high demand

Maintain accurate detailed records in accordance with the Trustspolicy and guidelines

Type/word-process routine documentation that is specific to therole, letters, reports, minutes;

Input data accurately onto bespoke systems on a daily basis

Adhere to the local and National Health and Safety regulations andthe Trusts Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications

Essential

Educated to academic Level 3 ( A-Level, NVQ3, OCR/RSA3, City and Guilds 3) in a Business/ Administration related subject or Educated to academic Level 2 ( GCSE Grade A-C) with considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer
