Warehouse Manager

Due to ongoing success, they arecurrently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join theirteam on a full-time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities willinclude:
Co-ordinate the efficient picking andpacking of customer orders (picking, final finish, packaging,checking, loading and administration)
Manage 'goods in'(unloading, checking, storing and administration) fromsuppliers
Ensure Forklifts, Counterbalance and PalletPedestrian Truck are operated under the correct and safe workingguidelines for all.
Storing and rotating stock accordingto company procedures, but in the most efficient process toalleviate any write-off of stock.
Keeping the warehouseenvironment clean and tidy and maintainingequipment
Responsible for the overall productivity withinthe goods in and goods out departments, maximizing space andsupporting the growth of the business.
Supportoperational change and continuous improvement by providingcontinual enhancements to aid efficiency.
Maintain andimprove team and personal KPI performance levels to maximize theefficiency of the operation and environment.
Recognizetraining needs and provide solutions to/for the team, implementingand maintaining accordingly.
Manage Warehouse weeklyrota, ensuring that the mandatory breaks are implementedaccordingly to comply with working time regulations and support thewelfare of the team.
The ideal candidate willbe able to demonstrate:
Be IT literate (Excel,Word, Outlook)
Have great interpersonal skills - theability to work well in a team and be a good team player/leader ofpeople.
Experienced with a good understanding ofwarehouse activities in a fast-paced environment.
Workingcollaboratively with other departments ensuring all orders arecompleted to a high standard.
Good timekeeper and able towork under pressure, quickly, accurately, and safely meetingdeadlines.
Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work,willing to go the 'extra mile' for the company and theirteam.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail,minimizing mistakes or resolving to alleviate becoming aproblem.
Strong decision-making and problem-solvingskills.
The ability to prioritize workload, delegatingresponsibilities fairly whilst remaining hands-on and leading fromthe front.
Valid Forklift and Pump TruckLicence.

Hours for this role areMonday to Thursday 8.30am-5pm and Friday8.30am-2.30pm.
