Job Description:

Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at KHR - Recruitment Specialists. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the efficient picking and packing of customer orders
  • Manage 'goods in' from suppliers, including unloading, checking, storing, and administration
  • Ensure forklifts, counterbalance, and pallet pedestrian trucks are operated safely and efficiently
  • Store and rotate stock according to company procedures, minimizing waste and maximizing space
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment, including equipment and facilities
  • Oversee the productivity of the goods in and goods out departments, maximizing space and supporting business growth
  • Support operational change and continuous improvement by providing enhancements to aid efficiency
  • Maintain and improve team and personal KPI performance levels to maximize efficiency
  • Recognize training needs and provide solutions for the team
  • Manage the warehouse weekly rota, ensuring mandatory breaks are implemented according to working time regulations

Requirements:

  • IT literacy, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and lead people
  • Experience with warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure high-quality orders
  • Good timekeeping and ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, with a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, minimizing mistakes
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload, delegating responsibilities fairly
  • Valid forklift and pump truck license
