Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:

Fowler Welch, a leading provider of time-critical logistics solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order processing
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
  • Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and logistics teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including inventory, shipping, and receiving documents
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Operational experience within a FMCG warehouse environment
  • FLT Licence
  • A good standard of education, including Maths at GCSE level or equivalent relevant qualifications
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure, both as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Effective communicator with excellent customer service skills
  • Thoroughness/attention to detail
