Warehouse Operative Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team at KHR - Recruitment Specialists. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and Packing: Select and pack customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Goods In: Unload, check, and store goods from suppliers, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Sample Production: Produce samples promptly in line with customer requirements.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift, counterbalance, and pallet pedestrian truck under correct and safe working guidelines.
  • Machine Operation: Operate a machine under correct and safe working guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure all goods loaded/unloaded match relevant paperwork and store and rotate stock according to company procedures.
  • Reporting: Report any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment and equipment.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English: Must have a good understanding of basic maths and English skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time Management: Good timekeeper and able to work under pressure and deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely.
  • Certification: Valid Certificate for a Counterbalance Forklift is essential.
