A great candidate will have

  • A Strong understanding of the childcare sector, including regulations, market trends, and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of the Welsh in Education Strategic Plan and the ability to support Welsh language initiatives.
  • Experience in business support, particularly within the childcare or education sectors.
  • The ability to coordinate training programs and support workforce development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in grant management and knowledge of external funding opportunities.
  • Excellent IT skills with experience of data analysis and providing management information
  • Experience of working effectively and in co-operation with a wide range of internal and external partners
  • The ability to work at pace and switch between tasks whilst maintaining a high degree of professionalism
  • To be innovative in driving projects forward
  • To be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle
