**Pay Rate**:£23,795.20
**Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract** (Full-Time) - 12 Months
**Shift patterns**:Monday - Friday (11:00 - 19:00)
**Location: Office based. Tradeteam - **Ebbw Vale (NP23 8XF)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Load Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.

**WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?**

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will- To plan load schedules making best use of backhauls where possible, using planning systems to maximise profit- Work with the depot teams to ensure the optimised plan is delivered- To continually develop the tactical transport/planning operation through generation of ideas & suggestions that improve key KPI performances, in areas such as schedule development, cube per load, kms and fleet efficiency

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- Transport planning experience - Desirable
- Excellent experience using all Microsoft Office packages - specifically Excel
- Good critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of working time legislations
