Training, development, and support for you:

You’ll contribute to different projects throughout the programme and here are some examples of work our recent Civil graduates have completed:
• Complete plant and site walk downs for operating power stations and nuclear new build projects
• Produce tools/calculators to automate calculations
• Support lead engineers with coordination of design activities including modifications
• Working closely with the Responsible Designer and Contractor for nuclear new build projects
• Using software such as Navisworks and PDMS to support design
Our Science and Engineering Programme also includes protected training time for courses covering nuclear fundamentals, EPR (European Pressurised Reactor) systems, communications, and health & safety.
Our scheme is accredited with a number of professional institutions, and we’ll support you to gain chartership with the relevant professional body:

• Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA)
• Institute of Physics (IoP)

Please note this programme is rotational in its nature, so you will be required to move around. But don’t worry - we’ve got you covered with practical and financial support every step of the way.
Who you are:
To join our team you’ll need a 2:2 Bachelor’s Degree or a 2:2 Postgraduate Degree (obtained or expected) in Engineering, Science or a related subject.
We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in nuclear energy, the power generation industry and technology with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, whilst being keen to solve technical problems.
Additionally, you must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
Our Virtual Assessment Centre will take place on 19th, 20th and 21st November.
