An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band Staff Nurse to join Cynan Ward in the Hergest Unit. We look forward to your application.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessments and treatments patients including risk assessment, care and treatment plans, specific health interventions using evidence-based treatments and health promotion. The post holder will be based working shifts patients inclusive of unsociable hours. They will use effective communication to keep patients involved in treatment and service contact, and to be responsible for service development and improvement. Applicants for the post are asked to use the Supporting Information section of the application form to explain their reasons for applying for the post, referring to the person specification for the post.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
