The Role:
Reporting to the
Head of Corporate & Events, the Business
Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving our growth and
success by identifying new business opportunities through local corporates,
whilst developing and continuing relationships with existing clients ensuring
the uppermost level of client satisfaction.
The Business
Development Manager shall be required to take a proactive approach within the
role, possess excellent communication skills, and able to confidently push
sales in the corporate leisure market for both Hoar Cross Hall and Eden Hall.

Key
responsibilities:
- Actively seek and engage with local business to
generate new business opportunities. - Conduct regular visits to our large corporate
clients to maintain strong relationships. - Focus on increasing sales in the corporate
leisure market at both Hoar Cross and Eden Hall. - Highlight and promote the benefits of
membership to potential and existing clients. - To network, cold call, and other outreach
methods to establish contact and connections with potential clients. - Represent the company at industry expos and
trade shows. - Organise and host familiarisation (fam) trips
for potential corporate clients to showcase our facilities and services. - Prepare and deliver compelling pitches to new
potential corporate clients. - Monitor and evaluate the return on investment
(ROI) for various sales and marketing activities. - Utilise data analytics to measure the
effectiveness of sales and marketing activities and adjust - strategies as necessary.
- Develop a detailed 12-month plan outlining the
clients and industries that will be targeted.

Essentials
- Excellent written
and verbal communication skills. - Strong
administrative abilities. - Proven track record
of working closely with and managing partnerships. - Great attention to
detail being meticulous in managing tasks. - Self-driven with a
positive attitude, capable of working independently. - Dedicated to
providing exceptional service and building long-term client relationships. - Willingness to
attend events and travel as required.
Desirables
- Proficiency in
Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Further
Information:
- 40 hours per week
- 5 days a week
hybrid role - Full driving
licence required as this role will require travel to attend events and meet
with clients. - Evening and weekend
work may be necessary to support client events and activities.
