Early Years L2 Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for two enthusiastic Early Years Assistants (level 2) to join a term-time only Pre-School – there can be flexibility around full time and part time roles for  the right candidates.

The role:

In this role you will be working with 3 – 5 year olds, supporting children with play-based learning activities both indoors and outdoors. You will cover all areas of development and the support planning, observations and assessments. You will also be overseeing children during lunch breaks.

You should have a keen and practical approach and be prepared to get involved. You should have a good level of spoken English.

The school are looking for Early Years Assistants who have a Level 2 Early Years qualification eligible for ratios.

The School:

The  Nursery School offers care and education for 3 to 5 year olds from 8.30am – 3.30pm during term-time only. The school holds high standards to pupils, with the goal to ensure pupils leave prepared, ready for primary school. The building is modern and stimulating for children with indoor and outdoor play and learning areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
