**Children's Wellbeing Practitioner**
**Up to £32,200**
This is an exciting time to join A Wilderness Way as we are currently growing our clinical and therapeutic team and you will be part of the exciting changes currently happening.
As a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner, you will work as part of a supportive and engaging team and will be responsible for supporting the emotional and wellbeing needs of the children who live with us. This involves assessment of need, the development of resources and delivering therapeutic interventions in collaboration with colleagues across A Wilderness Way.

**Your Role and Responsibilities as a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner**:
- Reporting to the Clinical Team Manager/ Head of Clinical and Therapy, you will compile and update, in collaboration with the team around the child, individual Plans for Care for the children who live with us.
- Work directly with the children to support wellbeing in relation to their identified wellbeing needs.
- Work as part of a clinical and therapeutic team to develop and deliver robust individualised intervention plans.
- Liaise with therapists and clinical team members in the indication and immediate needs of individual children.
- Work in partnership with external agencies when required, such as CAMHS and Children Social Care.
- Monitoring and updating the Plans for Care, safety plans and relevant connected paperwork.
**Key Qualities we look for**:
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in psychology, health and social care etc.
- Experience of trauma-informed working with children.
- Knowledge of a range of therapeutic interventions relating to emotional well-being.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A full, valid, UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
