Experienced Senior Residential Support Worker / Care Practitioner Job Vacancy - Bishop Auckland, County Durham. Permanent, Full Time or Part-Time.
Location: We are recruiting for Senior Residential Support Worker jobs across County Durham. Benefits:
* Salary: £28’600 - £31K per annum / £13.74 - £14.84 per hour.

Your Role: In this Residential Support Worker job in County Durham, you’ll be part of a dedicated team at a newly established children’s home near Bishop Auckland, where you’ll help support young people with complex health needs, including physical and learning challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervise and lead your staff team.
* Keeping accurate, up to date records and attend relevant meetings.
* Provide the very best care and support tailored to each child’s needs.
* Assisting with daily activities, personal care, and health management.
* Creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and learning.
* Supporting children with life skills, emotional development, and behaviour management.
* Working collaboratively with other professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Criteria:
* Previous experience in a residential or care setting working with children is essential
* Qualified to Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willing to work towards.
* Flexibility to undertake sleep-in duties as needed.
* A passion for delivering positive outcomes for young people.
