We are recruiting for the role of ImmunisationAdministrative Support to support our Flu Vaccination Team in schools andcommunity settings when delivering the Flu Vaccination Programme across Stockton
offices based in:
Stockton
The applicant will work alongside our existing administrative team insupporting the delivery of IntraHealth's immunisation and vaccinationprogrammes. The successful candidatewill primarily support the Immunisation Leaders with spreadsheets, dataanalysis, support training up staff on Intrahealth and NHS data systems and otherduties will include handling telephone calls from parents/carers & communicatingwith schools
Main duties of the job
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in administration and be able to perform general administration duties related to the role to a high standard. We require enthusiastic committed individuals who will work as part of the team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Travel to offices within the region is integral to the role, therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

General housekeeping of the office and management of deliveries and supplies to support contracts. Some manual handling may be required, in line with our Moving and Handling policy. Mandatory training on Manual Handling is required.Communication

Understand and apply the principles of the cold chain; Ensure safe storage, rotation and disposal of vaccines and drugs within area of responsibility; Be aware of statutory child health procedures, and statutory local guidance and referral criteria; Know the health and safety policies and procedures within the workplace, including fire procedures, maintaining documentation, monitoring and maintaining of equipment within your area of responsibility; Be able to identify the risks to health of microbiological and chemical hazards within the working environment according to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health.Learning and Development
