About the role

At Hammersmith & Fulham, we are ambitious in reforming the council to ensure this is a place for everybody. Within the Place department, we aim to be efficient in everything that we do. Sitting within our newly restructured Economic Growth team in our Economic Development Service, this role will play a central leadership function and provide additional capacity at a senior level to help us shape the growth and development of key sectors and clusters across the borough, including within major new developments, securing real local benefit for our residents in line with the aspirations of our Industrial Strategy. 

The role heads a new team with a wide range of responsibilities including: our approach to affordable workspace and meanwhile space, delivery of economic development aspects of our recently agreed Cultural Strategy and wider programme management support for the Industrial Strategy as a whole.
