About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Flooding Support Analyst 2 to join the Flooding Support team and play a pivotal role in delivering our end-to-end sewer flooding investigation process.

The successful candidate will provide analysis and support to the customer facing technical teams, facilitating the completion of detailed flooding investigations while ensuring all flooding data is complete and accurate.

You’ll support the effective management of flood alerts and the incident escalation process using Met Office Hazard Manager to provide rainfall information to key stakeholders. Key responsibilities will include using live customer information, technical knowledge, and historical investigation outcomes to drive optimal sewer flooding investigations and continuous improvement.

About you

You’ll have proven experience with data analysis and reporting along with excellent customer, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will be a team player and will be able to work to tight deadlines and undertake a demanding work schedule while remaining highly customer focused.

You’ll educated to BTEC or an equivalent level 3 qualification in an environmental, engineering, science or construction related discipline and have a valid driving licence as regular travel to different offices is expected within the role.
