We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.  Rotas given in advance (bank hours are also available).

Pay rate: £30,672 to £31,294 per annum.*  There are also opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate

We are looking for nurturing and supportive people, who can provide outstanding childcare and support our young people to achieve amazing outcomes. 

Our Morecambe home is a solo service that offers a smaller setting for young people who need therapeutic placements.  Our team supports their young person with all of their domestic needs, education, socialisation skills while learning new things and experiencing fun activities and excursions together.

*Based on a pay rate of £12 to £12.30 per hour, days (depending on qualification), £60 per sleep night (based on picking up 8 sleep shifts per month on average)
Requirements for a Children's Residential Support Worker:
  • A Full driving licence issued in the UK (essential)
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions (essential)
  • Prior experience in a children's care role (desirable)
  • Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare (essential)
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above (essential)
Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).
