About the role

 

The Receptionist Co-ordinators role is a linchpin in the machinery of the institution. Their team will be the unsung heroes who ensure that day-to-day activities run like clockwork. With a focus on student and visitor experience, they juggle student queries, logistical oversight, and the ever-present flow of visitors. They are the first point of contact, embodying the ethos of the EFI Group, ensuring that our students can access support and staff across the building to enable an outstanding student experience, and setting the tone for the visitor experience.

The Receptionist Co-ordinator will be highly professional, super-friendly, articulate, adaptable, and with the skills and gravitas to build an affinity with the ethos and values of the EFI Group Community, all whilst maintaining a smart, approachable and dependable attitude. You will be a team player, but someone who can also operate independently, with the confidence to make the right decisions to drive successful outcomes. 

With a repertoire of strong interpersonal abilities and a flexible mindset, you will navigate obstacles, find solutions, and maintain a calm, professional demeanour throughout. Above all you will be a positive, friendly and proactive person who wishes to develop your customer-service skills and support the day to day running of our amazing Group.

About you 

You will have a good general level of education with Grade C or equivalent in English. You will have a First Aid certificate (or willingness to train). You will have team management experience. You will have experience of working within a school/college or customer centric environment. You will have experience of working with young people. You will have good oral and verbal communication skills. You will be well organised and able to prioritise own work to meet deadlines.  You will be able to use own initiative and work as part of a team. You will be security conscious at all times and have a commitment to high standards. Strong organisation and time-management skills needed for prioritising and balancing a busy and varied workload. You will have an adaptable and confident approach to meet the challenges of a fast-paced environment.

Salary: 

From £30, to £34, per annum, subject to qualifications and experience
