Position Title : Global Talent Development Lead 

Location: Manchester – Hybrid, 2 days from our Spinningfields office

Role Purpose: As a Global Talent Development Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving transformative change in the learning experience at NCC Group. Your primary focus will be on leading the creation and embedding of a practical and results-orientated Learning and Development offering, that aligns with our business and People strategy and ‘employer of choice’ vision.

Summary:

Leading the team. You will proactively lead, coach and manage the performance of a talented team of development professionals, ensuring they have clarity of direction and defined deliverables. 

Training and Learning programmes. To lead the Talent Development Partners and Consultants to create our Global Talent Development Offering aimed at enhancing colleague skills knowledge and performance, including onboarding, interpersonal skills, leadership, and management training. Utilise a variety of delivery methods including digital learning, workshops, coaching etc. Leveraging the Apprenticeship Levy in the UK where appropriate. Work closely with Talent Development colleagues to ensure that learning content is approached in a holistic and aligned way.

Leadership Development. Using the Leadership Pipeline model as a basis you will lead the creation of our Global Leadership & Management Development offering including onboarding, Core skills, transitioning levels utilising the Apprenticeship Levy in the UK where appropriate to accelerate leadership competence and increase bench strength. You will facilitate relevant interventions with senior leaders across the Group.

Performance Management. Embed a culture of performance, feedback and continuous developmentby providing engaging interactive talent development initiatives to support the performance management process.

Career pathing. Work collaboratively with the business areas to create/refresh career paths. Ensuring the Talent Partners and Consultants are working effectively with the Digital Learning team and relevant SMEs to provide resources and support to enable colleagues to self-serve and facilitate their own career.

Stakeholder management. Proactively managerelevant business stakeholders, HR, and other Centres of Excellence to create a connected and rounded approach to colleague experience.

Supplier Management. Lead relationships with key suppliers, ensuring delivery, experience and outcomes meet our needs. 

What we are looking for in you: 

Proven experience of leading and coaching multi-skilled Talent Development teams.

Experience of designing and facilitating Leadership and Management Development interventions, from first line to senior leader levels.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills. 

Excellent knowledge and practical experience of the talent development cycle and trends. 

Experience of using Psychometrics, in particular Saville Wave, to support development conversations is desirable. 

Experience of coaching at senior leader level essential, qualification desirable. 

Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Learning Experience Platforms, or Learning Management Systems.
