Location: Manchester
Hybrid Working Model (2 days in the office, 3 days WFH)

Role Purpose:
The Global Intercompany (IC) Lead is responsible for managing inter-company transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.
The Global IC lead should be able to identify areas of concern and potential improvements, execute changes to optimize the overall team's and processes efficiency. The Global Intercompany Team Lead will be working closely with the various stakeholders in multiple countries around the globe to ensure that the accounting service is delivered on time with quality.
In addition, plays an important role in ensuring pending and aged intercompany items are being identified, reviewed, researched and resolved timely.
Key responsibilities:
- Mastering the end-to-end intercompany process and driving service delivery excellence globally by ensuring operational integrity & stability delivering on metrics that matter
- Providing leadership to delivery team on accounting of transactions for intercompany in an accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements
- Driving projects globally with strong focus on simplification and efficiency gains, managing inter-company transactions and reconciliations between multiple entities within the company
- Reviewing and approving journal entries, invoices and other financial transactions related to inter-company accounts, working with various departments to resolve discrepancies and reconcile inter-company accounts.
- Preparing and analyzing inter-company account reconciliations and ensuring timely resolution of reconciling items, participating in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes and performing other duties as assigned by management.
- Assisting with the implementation of new inter-company accounting policies and procedures, training and mentoring staff members on inter-company accounting processes and procedures, collaborating with auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. In addition to manage IPE (Inventory Profit Elimination) and Transfer Price operations based on guidance from Corporate Transfer Price Team.
- Drive talent agenda for global operational teams: recruitment, development, engagement, and succession resulting in a high performing team culture.
Key requirements:
- Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive and can work under pressure.
- Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures, business maturity levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to interface with various levels of management.
- Knowledge of Intercompany (IC) Accounts Receivables, IC Accounts Payables with period closing activities
- Knowledge on Purchase Order / MM Modules / GRIR Accounting
- Understanding of work stream connection of intercompany activities to other functions
- Strong deductive and analytical skills
