Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Early Years at EarlyBirds Nursery Woodville 

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join EarlyBirds Nursery at their Woodville setting to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.

Established in 2020, EarlyBirds Day Nursery offers all year round childcare and is located in the village of Fremington which is situated between the towns of Barnstaple and Bideford in beautiful North Devon.

​EarlyBirds Day Nursery welcomes children from ages 0-11, here your little ones will learn and play in a warm happy environment, cared for by our friendly, enthusiastic and fully qualified team.

Your roles and responsivities as an Apprentice working towards your level 3 will be;

Planning and supporting children with play and their education. Planning the daily activities. Key member of the team with a number of children allocated under your care. All aspects of personal care including toileting and training. Work in partnership with external agencies. Keep the parents updated with any progress, along with updating the children’s learning journals regularly. Attend parent’s evenings and team meetings.

Hours 

You will required to work a minimum of 30 hours and up to 45 hours per week with set hours of 7:00-18:00 and a day off option in the week 

Requirements;

Level 2 Childcare Qualification is required when applying To obtain a clear DBS  Have an understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe knowledge GCSE’s A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
