Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled Emotional and Behavioral Mentor for a full-time position at an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Sheffield.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting students with emotional and behavioral difficulties to manage their behavior and emotions effectively
  • Providing one-on-one and small group mentoring sessions to help students develop social and emotional skills
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create individualized plans for students
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress and communicating with parents and caregivers
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties
  • Knowledge of SEMH and strategies for managing challenging behavior
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
