We offer a competitive salary with a holiday entitlement of 25.2 days inclusive of bank holidays.


The ideal candidate will possess an extensive knowledge of supervisory skills, an innate understanding of team leadership and an intuitive approach to delivering an exemplary occupier and visitor experience that exceeds expectations. 


As the Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for recruiting, managing and empowering your team, setting an example as a strong, caring and inspiring supervisor with an ability to champion success and support where necessary. You will be self-motivated, confident in your communications and deal with all levels of stakeholders as second nature, with regular, meaningful interactions with the client.


Important notice: The candidate must be willing to work outside of conventional working hours.

Week 1: Saturday to Sunday 07:00 to 19:00 then Monday to Wednesday 19:00 to 07:00

Week 2: Saturday to Sunday 07:00 to 19:00 then Monday to Tuesday 19:00 to 07:00


Key Responsibilities

 

Oversee all aspects of your respective team and report to the Security Manager

Ensure all staff on the shift are fully trained will all site procedures/relevant systems

Ensure shift handovers are reviewed and completed to a high standard

Carry out regular building patrols and ensure that any faults are reported promptly

Ensure completion of comprehensive incident reports and submitted within the agreed timeframe

Provide a prompt, polite and professional service at all times

Oversee the Security Control Room

Audit Key and Asset Management via MyTag

Collaborate with other service providers to achieve shared goals through a 'one-team approach'

Must have a full understanding of the cross functions covered by each division i.e., Post Room, Loading Bay, Security Control Room, Incident Management.

Planning and implementing plans in a dynamic environment to ensure security is not compromised and works or events are facilitated

Must have a in-depth understanding and competence of Physical Protective Systems, such as CCTV & access control, key management, x-ray systems etc.

Respond to all emergencies e.g. bomb threats, fire alarms, intrusion, protests etc.

Ensure all staff on duty have full uniform and of high standard with a clean-cut presentation at all times

 

Essential Candidate Specification


Must have a valid Door Supervisor and CCTV licence

Encourages open and honest communication.

Motivates members through vision, inspiration, confidence and positive energy.

Previous experience in staff management/supervision or similar roles

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels

Must have a clear understanding and be able to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills whilst maintaining a high degree of confidentiality at all times.

Flexibility, reliability and being able to workdays/nights and weekends to suit the needs of the business.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure and must be fit to carry out all duties.

Computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point and Outlook, be able to write professional e-mails to key stakeholders

Ability to work independently with confidence, using own initiative and have strong leadership skills
