Job Description

As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Aid with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing 

  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed 

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed 

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients 

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying 

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care activities

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in a care-related role preferred but not required as we will put your through award winning training 

  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards others 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

  • Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic 

  • Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training 

  • Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle preferred due to rural locations of clients 


Qualifications

Previous experience in a care-related role preferred but not required as we will put you through award-winning training. We find that often the best carers are the ones who have experienced first-hand care for a family member or friend. If this is you and you don't know where to start in joining the care profession, we are here to help you obtain your care certificate and thrive in the care industry if you have a passion for caring for others.

  • This role is subject to references and DBS check 

  • Must live within a reasonable traveling distance of SN9 Postcode 

  • Ability to work in at least one of the areas we cover: Devizes, Pewsey, Marlborough, Andover, Amesbury, Tidworth and surrounding villages. 

  • Regrettably we do not have a sponsorship license at this time.  

This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
