We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Client and Data Analytics Consultant to join the Global Marketing Enablement team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract and can be based in Edinburgh or London.
About the Department
Your role will operate within the Global Brand and Marketing function. The Global Marketing Enablement Team enables the function and the business Vectors to effectively utilise data, technology and insights to drive the brand experience, acquisition, journey progression and retention of clients. We develop the solution design and requirements for the digital marketing technology stack with a strong emphasis on customer data and insights, intelligent segmentation, personalisation, data visualization and real-time activation. This is supported through performance optimisation to meet the operational requirements of our function and goals of our clients.
About the Role
As the Senior Client & Data Analytics Consultant you’ll take responsibility for delivering key outcomes of our marketing data, associated technologies and analytics strategy. You will support the successful utilisation of data and prescriptive anaylytics through marketing technologies to meet client’s needs. Through richer personalised engagement, enhanced targeting, awareness and journey progression, you will help drive conversion and lead generation.
Your team is focused on delivering an increasingly rich and diverse range of data sources and making these accessible to power multi-channel client engagement programmes. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring we have strong data taxonomy and we have the right data which underpins our ability to drive actionable insights and automate activity.
The role holder will deliver trusted data behind the MI framework and dashboards to enable the effective assessment of marketing performance. As a result, Marketing strategies and initiatives will become increasingly data and insight driven and measured to drive optimisation of budgets and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Support and help develop the strategy and associated programs of activity that delivers the capabilities, data sources and enrichment needed for Global Brand and Marketing to effectively convert marketing activity into commercial business outcomes
Support a culture of innovation in understanding and using data and analytics with technology across the function to enable marketing to more effectively target, engage and manage cient’s throughs its journeys
Enable the function to be data led through accessible intelligence on Client behaviour and optimisation of Marketing activity through effective tracking and analysis
Help key enablers such as Marketing Data Policy and Quality assurance processes with metrics to drive effective data quality, usability and enrichment
Work with the wider Global Marketing Enablement Team, function and business Vectors to effectively drive Global Marketing technology stack capability forwards
Skills and Experience
Strong technical understanding and experience of data architecture, integrations, hierarchy, governance of enabling marketing technology and data capabilities within a global business
Deep understanding of clients and the data landscape across our business Vectors
Significant experience of working with data requirements that supports Digital Marketing and multi-channel communication strategies
Experience of key technology platforms including Oracle Unity, Salesforce, Google Analytics and Power Bi
Ability to condense large amounts of information into concise and accurate summaries
Strong strategic focus with ability to successfully support activity and work with and where required manage internal & external resources to delivery key initiatives
Strong experience of building relationships with stakeholders
