Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides the contract to provide integrated health and substance misuse services to the public sector prisons in Cambridgeshire. We are currently looking to recruit an innovative band 6 nurse to work within our existing team.

The primary focus of this post will be to deliver the highest standard of care required to meet the diverse and complex healthcare needs of an adult male population.

HMP Whitemoor is a Category A male prison located in March in Cambridgeshire with free parking and an onsite gymnasium.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly team player who is, passionate about all aspects of Nursing, and who has exceptional clinical skills. The post holder will lead by example, demonstrating consistent exemplary standards of care and professionalism, is innovative and keen to drive nursing forward.

Previous experience of working within the prison estate would be an advantage.
