Requirements for the Staff Nurse role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification

The home is looking for nurses to take on the role of working in one of the unique units available.

Fantastic Level 2 Specialist Neuro Rehab Unit that has been specifically designed to assist our residents to live as independently as possible following traumatic injury or amputation. Designed to meet both intense, goal focused and slow-stream maintenance needs, the unit welcomes people looking for a fixed term, bespoke rehabilitation programme, as well as people with long term neurological needs causing physical disability.

The role of a Staff Nurse within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring that the care, welfare and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard
  • Carrying out assessments and evaluations
  • Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly
  • Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation and health and safety
  • Mentoring junior member of staff
  • Undertaking specific duties as delegated by the Home Manager
