Role Summary
The Territory Account Executive (TAE) Apprentice will support a TAE in our Mid-Market Inside Sales team based in Manchester. A TAE is responsible for managing an assigned territory in support of the Mid-Market segment selling directly to customers between 101–1000 users, fulfilling through our channel partners. The apprentice will develop and learn skills to help them generate and pursue leads and opportunities to help achieve sales quotas. They will work alongside the TAE team to help input and maintain the territory account plan from prospecting to building and maintaining a constant revenue pipeline. You will benefit from Sophos Sales Enablement Training, the Apprenticeship Training and support from your manager and the wider Sophos Sales team, to allow you to learn essential skills and behaviours and knowledge you need to succeed in a Sales career.
What will you do?
Help generate Mid-Market accounts sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecasting pipeline. Assist the team to achieve its quarterly sales goals. Work with the assigned TAE to assist into the sales process through closure of the sale, driving high renewal rate and cross-sell opportunities in territory. Develop relationships with key buyers and influencers. Engage with customers regularly to understand their business pain points, priorities, business drivers, to align Sophos solutions to customer’s desired outcomes. Work with Channel Sales team and partner community to create pipeline through indirect engagements. Work with sales engineering and channel partners throughout the sales cycle to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and high adoption of Sophos technology.
